Imagine playing in front of a large crowd, center court, in front of a crowd potentially as large as a few thousand people. You and your team are introduced over the intercom..entering the arena to your favorite song. Hearing your name, your teammate's names, as well as YOUR SPONSORS announced over the intercom pumps you up. To see the field surrounded by tons of people, there to see YOU!! Your games start and stop on a buzzer and the game time is displayed overhead for everyone to see. Teams will compete for the coveted 'Challenge Trophy". The winning team's name will be engraved in the trophy and put on display for the following year.
The tournament will be filmed and broadcast on local TV, local newspaper and magazines will be covering the event. Also, 2 local paintball veterans will be announcing the whole event. They will be doing player, team, and sponsor introductions, as well as doing play by play announcing during the games.
When: Labor Day, Monday, Sept 7
Where: Russell Co. Fairgrounds, Castlewood, VA. (45 min from TAS)
Entry Fee: $75 per team (includes team air fees)
Registration: All teams MUST pre-register for the event by Monday, August 31, 2009 as noted on the Registration page, to receive 4 free gate passes. Registration can be completed online or by mail. You can pay by PayPal or by calling TAS and paying over the phone with your credit card
